Acceptable Use Policy

WASDEV is a powerful tool: it writes files, runs commands, manages servers and works on phones. This policy says what it must not be used for. It is part of the Terms of Use.

1. Use WASDEV lawfully

Do not use WASDEV, alone or with an AI, to:

  • break the law or help someone else to break it;
  • create or spread malware, ransomware, spyware or any code meant to damage, spy on or take control of systems without permission;
  • access, scan or attack a computer, account, network or server that you do not own or are not authorised to test;
  • steal, collect or publish personal data, passwords or secrets that are not yours;
  • send spam, phishing or misleading content, or pretend to be another person or company;
  • copy or distribute works, code or trademarks without the right to do so.

2. Respect the licence

  • Do not share, sell or publish your licence key, or use it on more computers than your plan allows.
  • Do not get around the licence check, the trial period or the technical limits of the application.
  • Do not resell, rent or redistribute WASDEV, or present it as your own product.
  • Do not use a student licence for paid work, or give false documents to obtain one.

3. Use AI responsibly

The AI providers you connect have their own usage rules: you must follow them. Do not try to make an AI get around the guard rails of WASDEV, and do not send to an AI provider data that you are not allowed to share. You remain responsible for what the AI does at your request, including in autonomous mode.

4. Security work needs permission

Security testing, analysis of vulnerabilities and similar work are welcome when you own the system or have the written permission of its owner. Without that permission, they are forbidden.

5. Phones and firmware

Use the phone and firmware tools only on devices that you own or that their owner asked you to work on. Do not use them to unlock stolen devices, to remove protections against theft, or to change identifiers such as the IMEI where the law forbids it.

6. Recording and browsing

When you record a screen, a camera or a voice, respect the privacy of other people and get their agreement where the law requires it. The built-in browser, the server tools and the downloads must be used in line with the rules of the sites and services you reach.

7. Protect our services

Do not overload, probe or disrupt our website, our licence server, our update server or your account page, and do not try to reach data that is not yours.

8. If this policy is not respected

We may suspend or cancel a licence in case of a serious or repeated breach, and we may answer lawful requests from the authorities. We do not see your code or your AI conversations: we act on what is reported to us and on what our own servers record.
