License
The source code and binaries of WASDEV are the property of GRAN LAKU COMPANY. The license (EULA) prohibits modifying, decompiling, reverse engineering, copying or distributing the software, by any means — including through an AI. AIs working inside WASDEV have no access to the software's code (neither write nor read): they work only in the developer's project.

WASDEV (Workspace for Applications, Software, Firmware, Story, 3D and UI Design Development) is a development environment (IDE) that puts artificial intelligence at the center of your work. It is built to create websites, apps, software and firmware, tell stories (storyboards), work in 3D and do UI design in one place — with an AI assistant, a browser, a server client and a viewer for almost every kind of file. It stays lightweight: the heavy work is done by native Rust modules.

What WASDEV can do

Code editor

  • Syntax highlighting for 125 languages (web, mobile, systems, data, firmware, aerospace…) and the GAD language.
  • Autocomplete, auto-closing brackets / quotes / HTML tags, open-close guide lines.
  • Color swatches in front of color codes (#hex, rgb, hsl…) — click to pick a color.
  • Unlimited zoom (Ctrl+wheel, Ctrl+= / Ctrl+-), autosave with the delay you choose.
  • Change a file's language (Ctrl+K M), command palette (Ctrl+Shift+P), search across the whole project.

Open every kind of file

  • Local explorer with per-language icons and image thumbnails.
  • Images (unlimited zoom), video, audio, PDF, hex view for binaries.
  • Photoshop PSD/PSB with a layers panel (show/hide, opacity, blend modes).
  • Camera RAW photos (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF…), 3D models (OBJ, STL, glTF/GLB, FBX, PLY, 3MF) you can rotate with the mouse.
  • Office: Excel/ODS tables, PowerPoint/ODP slides, Word text; SQLite, ZIP, fonts, Jupyter notebooks.

AI CODER

  • AI chat with 19 companies (Claude, Gemini, GPT, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok, local Ollama…) — Claude Code works with your account, no API key.
  • The AI can read, write and edit project files; you see every change (diff) before accepting it. Tools and MCP servers.
  • Send images, videos, PDFs, code; talk with the microphone and hear the answers; camera.
  • Your messages on the right, the AI on the left, images as thumbnails. Dev History: every conversation by project.

AI IMAGES

  • Ask the AI to “generate an image…” or “make a video…”: GPT Image, DALL·E 3, Imagen 4, Gemini Image, Grok, FLUX; video with Veo 3 and Sora 2.
  • Every result goes automatically to the AI IMAGES panel; save it into your project in one click.

Design 2D+3D & UI Prototype

  • Vector canvas (frames, shapes, pen, text, booleans, components, Auto Layout, variables) and clickable prototypes; Dev mode (CSS, code).
  • Images: background removal, portrait retouch (GFPGAN + MediaPipe models, local), 101 LUTs (cinema, black & white), AI fill, AVIF.
  • Font creator: create or import TTF / OTF / WOFF / WOFF2 to edit them, export TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2 and a CSS kit.
  • Export PNG / JPG / WebP / AVIF / TIFF up to 4K, SVG, PDF, PSD (layers), HTML, PowerPoint.

Storyteller

  • Story, scenes, shots and characters → storyboard; the AI writes the story and generates the images (Pixar 3D style…).
  • Export PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Fountain screenplay, Excel shot list and an MP4 animatic.

Docs Editor

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF in one module (sidebar, recent files, new document, send to the AI).

Built-in browser

  • Fixed Home tab + Chrome-like tabs, 10 search engines, separate window if you want.
  • Screenshots (full page or an area), save images straight into the project, Downloads panel.
  • Idle mode: after the time you choose without activity, the side bars close.

SERVER

  • FTP, FTPS, SFTP (Rust engine), Site Manager with Logon Type, local | server split view.
  • Edit server files directly: Ctrl+S uploads them. Local server, terminal, errors and logs.

GAD language

  • Language created by GETHO GUERRIER / GRAN LAKU COMPANY: bundled compiler, run / build / check / format, 39 keywords, autocomplete and GAD icons. Under the GAD License.

Project statistics

  • Background stopwatch: time the project is open and real working time, per day, week, month and year — saved in an encrypted statistik.time (only WASDEV can read it).
  • Statistics page: files, lines of code, comments, languages, images, size, charts and a work calendar — scanned in milliseconds by the Rust engine wastat.

Customization and Windows

  • 8 languages, 21 themes + custom theme, keyboard shortcuts, every setting in one window.
  • Windows “Open with” and right-click menu for all files and folders; a single window for every file you open.
  • Native Rust modules: wasrv (servers), wasimg (PSD, RAW), wasopen (launcher).
